An Origin Book of fact and fiction

History, Theology and Mythology, a forbidden combination?
Lots of authors, throughout the history of the written word, have put thoughts to pen and paper. Two main types of writing are classed as truth, or fairytale. Fiction is my favorite because it can make the impossible possible and provide a reader with a break from reality. Reading is more labor intensive than watching the idiot box and requires one to use imagination. It is a type of faith that does not require one to have to see the characters, places or things. The reader can make one's own assumptions as to what is going on.
Non-fiction is obviously the exact opposite, where imagination does not fuel the story. Real places and people are the mainstay of a non-fiction book. A fiction novel can be about real places, with made up characters and events. History can be used to create the backdrop for fake events and or people that may have truly existed. Some fiction is completely made up, as exaggerations of possible truth. This is mythology. There have been some authors who have braved the blending of fact and fiction to create believable stories, but I am unaware of any who have combined historical places and people with mythological characters to provide a believable past that may have happened. I have written such a book, that I hope to one day publish.
I am writing this hub to hopefully gather feedback on whether or not readers would even be interested in such a book. I have submitted to a few literary agents but have yet to get a request for a full read, or an acceptance. I am of course up for having a local book reading, but I am unsure of how to proceed at this point.
The book is a blending of the origin of time, the first family and the fall from grace. Most would think that it is one of those forbidden subjects that offends some and is sacred to others. My intention is to shed some light on what life must have been like and what the struggles where then. There is good versus evil, with man against beast and demon. There is murder, intrigue, lies and deception, interwoven with magic and miracles. Place and character names are a mix of Hebrew, Muslim, ancient Germanic, Greek and Latin. My hope is that the story could break down the barriers of faiths and theologies, so readers around the world could read and enjoy my take on what might have been.
Please leave a comment, as I am interested in your opinion of my hopeful work.
